Prestigious travel award to Hurtigruten

The Norwegian coastal cruise liners Hurtigruten have been voted BEST NICHE CRUISE LINE by the British Travel Awards 2008.

The Hurtigruten's cruise along the Norwegian coast between between Bergen and Kirkenes has been called the most beautiful trip by sea in the world.

Those voting for the British Travel Awards, thousands of customers, agents and representatives for the travel industry, seem to agree.

- This means a tremenous recognition of our efforts to maintain a high quality in our product in a tough market, says Ian Cottam, director of Hurtigruten UK.

Last year Hurtigruten was voted Best Spcialty Cruice by Britain's Travel Weekly Awards.
