Fylkesbaatane runs express boat services between the county of Sogn og Fjordane and Bergen with four large catamarans, and local express boat services within Sogn og Fjordane with around ten smaller express boats, some owned by the company, others hired from other companies. The company operates thirteen ferry crossings in the county, employing a total of twenty ferries. Fylkesbaatane also operates cargo boats between the industrial centres in Western Norway and Bergen, as well as two reefer vessels trafficking the North Sea and the Baltic and local cargo-carrying boats and combined passenger and goods services.
