Norwegian Psychology students in Budapest have been rejected for permission to have an internship and work in Norway with

exams from ELTE. According to the Directorate of health, new information from Hungarian authorities explain that education from ELTE is not entitled to authorization. We have received updated information showing that they have the right to work as a psychologist, but it does not provide a right of authorization. Ergo be judged by any other grounds, says Farseth in the Directorate of health. ELTE has about 200 Norwegian students of psychology training. Since 2003, students received approval for this education in Norway. Authorization has normally not been granted, but license given. After one to two years on license the student could apply for authorization and get it approved.
