Every year more than 1.3 million tonnes of seafood are sent from Norway to the EU. That is equivalent to 170 fully loaded semi-trailers every day throughout the whole year.

Norway exported seafood worth NOK 6,4 billion in March. That is an increase of 13 percent, or NOK 741 million, compared to March 2014.
Norway exported seafood worth NOK 16.8 million in the first quarter of the year. In total, this represents a 25 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2013.
So far this year Norway has exported seafood worth NOK 900 million more than the total sale in 2013.
