Lower export price for salmon
In the last week of June the export price of fresh Norwegian salmon came to NOK 40.94 per kilo. This a decrease of 4.1 per cent, compared to the previous seven-day period.
The export quantity of fresh salmon was 16 383 tonnes in the period 22 June – 28 June, an increase of 2.2 per cent compared to the period 15 June - 21 June, Statistics Norway (SSB) reports..
Norway exported 487 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 41.55 per kilo in the period 22 June – 28 June.
