World Chess Championship: Another draw

In the seventh game of the World Chess Championship in Sotsji, defending champion Magnus Carlsen had to settle for a draw against challenger Viswanathan Anand of India on Monday. The draw was agreed after almost six and a half hours of play.

A 122-move draw in the seventh game means Anand remains a point behind Carlsen in the 12-game World Chess Championship match (4-3).

Now, Anand will play with white pieces in the eighth game on Tuesday.
